If you’re usually not bothered or even thinking about the condition of your skin and scalp, then the Everyday Hero is most likely the cube for you. This cube has mostly olive oil in it which moisturizes your skin and scalp leaving it soft and smooth.
Formulated of only natural ingredients, our cubes cleanse your skin without stripping it of its natural oils and protective barrier. The formulation into a solid cube, allows for a higher concentration of the pure, good-for-you ingredients – whilst leaving out common drying chemicals, surfactants and preservatives.
Sulfates are what makes your shampoo produce its rich lather and it works by stripping your hair and scalp of all dirt, debris and odours. But, it also strips your hair of its natural oils, in the end, drying out your scalp. To combat this, your scalp increases its oil production making your hair feel greasy, quicker.
Our cubes cleanse your skin without stripping it of its natural oils and protective barrier. When you stop using shampoos and conditioners with strong chemicals, your hair will need some time to adjust. This can take up to a few weeks for some, while for others, less. Be patient and let it take some time.
We often hear that our skin is our biggest organ and something we should take care of. That is why we often remember to put on sunscreen and moisturizers. However we often forget that our scalp is part of that big organ. Not that it necessarily needs any special products but it sure needs some love.
Try these tips for your hair;
Don’t over wash. Try to go longer in between showers.
Massage your scalp while showering. Let it take some time and savor the moment. That will result in increasing the blood flow and soften your scalp.
Turn your head upside down, and blow it dry. This helps create volume since the hair can dry virtually weightless.
Brush your hair from the scalp upwards. With a fine-tooth comb, push in smooth, even strokes—not aggressive back-and-forth movements!—from the middle of the hair to the base to get up that volume even more.
- Switch up your part.
Scrunch your hair up in a bun, leave it for a while (or sleep with it) then loosen it and brush through your hair.
