Q: Where do you ship to?
We ship all across Europe. If your country is not covered by our shipping rates, drop us a line at hello@aardaleppo.com and we will give you an updated price for your shipment.
Q: How long time does it take for me to get my order?
Delivery time within Sweden is 2–3 business days whilst 4–6 business days for international orders. Please note that if you place an order after 12 p.m. on a Friday, your order will only be handled the following Monday. Longer delivery time might apply during holidays.
Q: What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your product for some reason, you can return it to us! In that case. Send us an email at hello@aardaleppo.com within 30 days of delivery. Include information such as your name, email address through which the purchase was registered, your order number and the item(s) you want to return.
You will then get a shipping label from us and we will arrange with the refund as soon as we have received the return.
Q: Are there any parabens, sulfates, silicones etc in your products?
No. We pride ourselves in offerings as natural products as possible, without unnecessary chemicals, parabens or perfume. We aim to offer products with as short of an ingredients list as possible with no bullshit ingredients.
Q: What are your key ingredients and where are they from?
Our main ingredients in our cubes is laurel berry oil and olive oil. Laurel berry oil is the potent ingredient and a natural antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory agent. It takes care of dry, sensitive and problematic skin and scalp. Olive oil, moisturises and nourishes the skin without stripping it of its natural oils and contains antioxidants and fatty acids that work together to improve texture and skin tone. Both these oils are sourced in Turkey, where our cubes are made.
Q: Is solid soap hygienic?
Yes. Germs can’t actually be transferred from a bar of soap to your body when you use it. The natural antibacterial benefits of our cubes keep bacteria to a minimum both on the surface of the bar and your skin itself.
Q: Where are you based?
We're based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Q: Should one really use soap for washing the face with?
Yes and no. It's not the soap itself that is bad for your skin, but the fact that many conventional soaps are packed with drying chemicals, surfactants, perfumes and preservatives. Our cubes contain none of these. In fact, formulating the ingredients into a solid bar allows for a higher concentration of pure, good-for-you ingredients while leaving out common preservatives. Including only natural ingredients and two super hero oils, it is more than safe to use your cube as a facial cleanser.
Q: How do I best take care of my cube?
Always rinse your cube off after using it and store it someplace dry in between washes, to make sure it dries out properly. Our soapdish The Sidekick is perfect for that, as it drains the water from under it.
Q: Where are the cubes made?
Our cubes are made in Turkey by an Aleppian soapmakers.
Q: What does the lye in your products do?
In order to create a solid cleanser, sodium hydroxide (lye) is needed. Without it, no solid soap can be created. However, no lye is left in the finished product as everything disappears as part of the saponification process.
